"IBC Office Pétanque" is an exemple of a long-form office pétanque tournament that we created for the International Business Center (IBC) in Prague. We adapted the rules of classical pétanque and the teams are composed of employees of companies with offices at IBC. We set up a real boulodrome in the building’s lobby, and the players used special indoor boules. For several weeks, the teams competed in group play to see who would advance to the elimination round; the semifinals and final match were held at a festive gala evening featuring music, an entertainment program, massages, and excellent food and drink. The first IBC Office Pétanque tournament was held in the fall of 2009, and the second tournament took place in the spring of 2010.
